BE A TRAIL RANGERS COACH

When you volunteer your time as a Trail Rangers Coach, you help shape a brighter future for kids in your community.

Imagine the joy of seeing a child accomplish something they never thought possible like finishing their first race, navigating a challenging trail, or simply gaining the confidence to try something new. As a Trail Rangers Coach, you play a pivotal role in creating moments like these.

Coaching is more than just teaching kids to be better mountain bike riders; it’s about changing lives and building stronger communities. You’ll help kids develop physical skills, grow their self-esteem, and build friendships — all while making a meaningful impact in your community.

Coaching with Trail Rangers is a unique and rewarding experience. Unlike many youth sports programs, we provide you with everything you need to succeed. You don’t have to be an expert cyclist or spend hours planning lessons. What we need most are adults who care—people willing to guide, encourage, and support young riders as they tackle new challenges and reach their goals.

What Makes Coaching with Trail Rangers Different?

  • Turnkey Program
All practice plans and activity materials are provided, so you can focus on what matters most—engaging with your team. There’s no need to spend hours planning; we’ve done the work for you.

  • Comprehensive Training
Georgia Cycling ensures every coach is prepared with yearly training in coaching fundamentals, first aid, concussion protocol, and more. Our Leadership Summit offers the ability to participate in hands-on training and best practices workshops. These educational opportunities set us apart from other youth sports programs, which often offer little support.

  • Flexibility
Live outside the program’s county? No problem. You can coach in any of our local programs, choosing the location that best fits your schedule and travel needs.

  • Meaningful Impact
Helping kids achieve their goals is a rewarding experience. As a Trail Rangers coach, you’ll see firsthand how your guidance fosters growth—both on and off the trail.
