STUDENT MENTORS

The Georgia Cycling Association’s Student Mentorship Program connects middle and high school riders in our TeamMTB program with elementary-aged riders in our Trail Rangers program, fostering a culture of leadership, growth, and connection.

Through this program, TeamMTB student-athletes serve as mentors, assisting Trail Rangers coaches during local sessions. This hands-on experience allows older riders to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and give back to their cycling community, while younger riders benefit from relatable role models who inspire and support their growth on the bike.

Student-to-student mentorship strengthens both mentor and mentee—boosting skills, deepening engagement, and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all riders. This program reinforces the values of teamwork, perseverance, and community that define Georgia Cycling.
